In this two day workshop, students will learn techniques and sophiscicated colour mixing choices which collectively express the illusion of reflective metal. On day 1, Alexandra will start participants on a simple exercise with minimized reflective properties. In day two, individuals will work on an exercise that addresses high-shine and in-depth observation of colour and pattern on metal surfaces. Glazing effects and impasto will be covered in day two, to introduce students  to the wide contrast of techniques that compliment the look of metal objects.

Recommended for people with some previous painting experience (intermediate).
