Alexandra Flood is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art, and has instructed painting to adults, teens and children for ten years. She is a nationally recognized contemporary painter, and in the collection of the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, and the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. Flood has received numerous awards for her work by organizations within and beyond New Brunswick, including ArtsNB, the Canada Council for the Arts, and the Delphina Studios Trust, UK.   In 2008, she was awarded the New Brunswick Government’s prestigious Miller Brittain Award for Excellence in the Visual Arts.

In Spring 2010, Alexandra opened her new Uptown Saint John Studio to students for private and group workshop painting instruction.
